POST-CONFERENCE FIELD TRIPS
The following two field trips will be organized the day next to the closing day of the Scientific Conference segment of the forum. Only registered forum attendees are qualified to take these trips. However, the forum registration fee does not cover the cost of any of the two trips. An extra charge, specific to the selected trip, has to be paid for the selected trip.
Field trip (A)
This three days filed trip (Friday, Saturday and Sunday,15th,16th and 17th Oct, 2010 respectively) will present the excellent Mesozoic sequence outcrops of the Nafusah Uplift in NW Libya. The trip starts and ends in Tripoli .
The trip will be guided by Prof. Ali M.SBETA and Dr. Mahmoud T.EL BAKAI The costs are 800 Euro(Eight hundred).
It will cover the field trip guide book, transportation, accommodation and food(breakfast and dinner) During the trip, including lunch packages. However beverages in the Hotels are exluded. More details about the field trip will be announced at the forum web sooner.
Field trip (B):
This one full day field trip will be organized on Friday October 15, 2010 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It will take the participants to a guided technical tour in Mellitah Complex (88 KM west of Tripoli) have lunch there, and on the way back to Tripoli, will visit the famous Sabratah ruins (73 km. west of Tripoli) in a guided cultural tour.
